Testing my Dry Practice

This post was supposed to go live last Saturday, but it didn’t happen, so the shooting is a few days behind my practice as of now. Be that as it may…

After a couple of weeks of dry practice to get back into the groove, I thought I would film a short video showing the results. First a Cold Heat run, followed by crashing the trigger. As you can see in the video, my visual control left me during the Cold Heat run, but even so, I’m pleased with the outcome at this point. Going forward, I need to work on my vision a bit more and see if I can keep that 4th shot on the target. This was not a comprehensive test or practice session in any way, but I have found that my cold speed and accuracy is one of the first skills to go when I don’t practice regularly, so a quick check on it is useful for me.

The other shots on the target are from a friend of mine shooting .22’s earlier in the day. Also, you may need to turn the volume up a bit to hear the beep before each trigger press in the second half.
