I just got back from teaching an ODP class at the very nice Guntry range in West Virginia. It is an indoor range, but you wouldn’t know it considering how clean the air was and how quiet the overall experience was. We had a great group of shooters from all walks of life, but with a heavy emphasis on military and law enforcement. Everyone was safe, shot very well and was a pleasure to work with. I gave out 3 F.A.S.T. pins for expert performance and they can be seen on the F.A.S.T. wall of fame.

On my end, I taught the class with my new LTT P30SK LEM. It handled and shot every bit as well as my usual full size duty guns. A very impressive package.

Though this was my last class of the year, it was the first time Guntry has hosted an outside instructor. The guys that work there teaching classes were very good shooters and I’m honored that they asked me to come out and present. If anyone wants to host a class for next year, slots are filling up, so let me know sooner rather than later if that interests you.

I’d like to thank all of my hosts and all of the shooters who came out and made my first (almost) training year such a success. Everyone was safe, competent and a lot of fun to shoot with. It is very rewarding to be able to contribute in any way to a shooters journey. Hopefully I will get to shoot with some of you again next year, either in one of my classes or someone else’s. Have a Happy Hanukkah, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
