Spartan's $55 phone holder mounts on its hunting tripods

Spartan Precision Equipment has a new Phone Holder that mounts a smartphone on its Davros heads and Ascent tripods, so hunters and shooters can film without holding the phone. It sells for $55.

The short version

The UK-based company pitches it at hunters, guides, competitive shooters and outdoor content creators who want to record stalks, long-range shots, trophy photos or training drills. The holder includes a Light Duty Optics Adapter that integrates with Spartan's mounting system, and it uses an ARCA-Swiss female interface for wider compatibility.

A dual-action adjustment holds phones from 59mm to 94.5mm wide in portrait or landscape, and the whole unit weighs 74 grams (2.6 ounces). Founder Rob Gearing says it lets users capture hunts with the same reliability they expect from Spartan's other products. It is available now from retailers and online.
