SHIELD Sights brings an anti-drone reticle to its AMSx

October 15, 2026

Counter-drone features are moving down to individual weapon sights. SHIELD Sights showed its AMSx red dot fitted with a new C-UAS reticle, meant for engaging small drones, at the Land Forces 2026 exhibition in Australia.

The short version

The British maker displayed the AMSx with the counter-unmanned-aircraft reticle at the Land Forces International Land Defence Exposition, held October 6 to 8 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre in Western Australia. The sight was shown at booth 3N07 with 360 Defence, SHIELD's exclusive supplier to the Australian government, as part of the company's Australian launch.

SHIELD invited U.S. military, government and defense-industry attendees to see the new configuration. The announcement did not describe how the reticle works or give pricing and availability, so details beyond the name and the show appearance are not yet public.
