SIG Sauer has a new weapon light for long guns. The FOXTROT MSR combines a lot of the most popular features in current lights at a very competitive price point. Keep reading to see what SIG has created.

SIG Sauer @ TFB:

The new FOXTROT MSR runs on 18650 rechargeable cells with a 1.5-hour run time. CR123A batteries are also a compatible power source. It puts out 1,350 Lumens and 33,000 Candela.

All of that output is controlled by a push button on the rear of the unit, or any SureFire-compatible remote switch. SIG includes a tape switch, as well as Picatinny and M-LOK attachments. Those mounts are compatible with the existing ecosystem of Scout mounts, so there will be plenty of ways to adapt this light to any long gun.

The main body is made of anodized 6061 aluminum and weighs 3.6 ounces. You won’t have to wait for the FOXTROT MSR to hit the market. It is available for order now on the SIG Sauer website for $199.
